Seeing the zeal and interest among the youth, Lt. Korangangnen proposed starting Christian Endeavour (CE) in 1970 under his leadership. However, the church did not agree at that time. The following year, in 1971, the proposal was brought up again at a general meeting and was approved. The church contributed Rs. 30 to start Christian Endeavour (CE).
With immense joy among the youth, they gathered at Mr. Rongsennungba’s place to launch CE on January 3, 1971. At that time, there were a total of 39 youths. Among the baptized youth, 19 contributed Rs. 1 each. Their first service was held on February 10, 1971, based on the theme “Remember your Creator in the days of your youth” (Ecclesiastes 12:1). On that day, a total of 87 paisa was collected during the service.

The Aoyimti Baptist Church Youth Ministry celebrated its 50th anniversary on the 20th and 21st of March 2021, under the theme "Benjonga Nuji Nukla Yudi", with Mr. Toshi Sanglir, Youth Secretary of ABAM, as the guest speaker. The two-day event was a vibrant celebration of faith, featuring inspiring messages, cultural performances, and testimonies that reflected on the ministry's growth and impact over the past five decades. The occasion honored past leaders and members for their contributions while encouraging the youth to remain steadfast in their faith and united in their mission. The celebration concluded with a renewed commitment to spiritual growth and community service, marking a significant milestone as the ministry looks forward to the next 50 years of God's faithfulness.
To better serve the diverse needs of our youth, the ministry is divided into three vibrant clubs:
Each club organizes tailored programs designed to inspire, empower, and equip its members to grow in faith, character, and purpose, empowering them to live boldly as witnesses of God’s love and truth in every aspect of life.
The Aoyimti Youth Ministry is organized into three dynamic houses:
Each house is uniquely designed to foster growth, connection, and purpose, empowering youth to thrive spiritually, socially, and creatively as they walk together in faith and fellowship. To strengthen unity and camaraderie, House Fellowships are conducted twice a year, bringing members together for meaningful connections and shared experiences.
Our Youth Ministry, guided by the theme "You Are My Witnesses," is committed to nurturing, molding, and shaping the lives of young individuals for holistic development—spiritually, socially, and creatively. Through a variety of engaging programs held year-round, we inspire and empower the youth to grow in faith, character, and purpose, equipping them to boldly live as witnesses of God’s love and truth in every aspect of life.
