Between 1971 and 1981, the church collected Rs. 473.47 for missional work. In 1981, during a general meeting, the church decided to form a Mission Board. Lt. Takameren (Treasurer), Mr. T. Lanu Ozükum (Secretary), and Lt. Chubazenba (Member) were selected to form the Mission Board. The amount collected by December 13, 1981, was handed over to them to initiate mission work, marking the beginning of the church’s mission efforts.
After 11 years, in 1992, the Mission Board was renamed the St. Thomas Mission Board. In 2023, during a general meeting, the St. Thomas Mission Board was renamed the ABA Mission Board, which remains in use today. The ABA Mission Board consists of 11 members: one Chairman, one Secretary, and nine members.
